FSC Fire Rated Plywood

Back in the early 1980s, Sterritt Lumber was an innovator in becoming among the first lumber yards in New England to stock fire rated material.  With so many schools, churches, and universities located in the Boston area, many consumers desired the safety qualities and durability of this class of material.  Sterritt Lumber answered this call.

Recently, Sterritt Lumber has continued to innovate by being among the first in New England to handle FSC certified fire rated plywood.  This versatile class of materials combines the dependability of fire ratings with the knowledge that the strict standards of the Forest Stewardship Council were upheld during manufacturing.

Sterritt is proud to stock FSC fire rated plywood in a variety of faces that come in the following thicknesses: 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, and 3/4 inch thick.
